Voniq does not ship a desktop app. On Windows, MicroSIP is the fastest way to register your SIP account and place calls through our European routes.
- 1
Create your Voniq account
Register on the website, pick a paid plan, and top up your balance with crypto. Your SIP username and password appear in the dashboard after login.
- 2
Download MicroSIP
Install MicroSIP from the official site. Use the 64-bit build on modern Windows. No special firewall rules are needed for standard home networks.
- 3
Add a new SIP account
Open MicroSIP → Menu → Add account. Set Account name to Voniq. Enter the SIP server hostname from your dashboard (e.g. sip.voniqcc.xyz).
- 4
Enter credentials
Username and password must match your Voniq SIP credentials exactly. Domain should match the server host. Transport: UDP is fine for most users; try TLS if your network blocks UDP.
- 5
Codec settings
Enable G.711 (PCMU/PCMA) first for best compatibility on DE/AT routes. Disable video. Set echo cancellation on if you hear your own voice.
- 6
Place a test call
Dial a German or Austrian test number. Check the dashboard call history within a few seconds. If registration fails, verify balance and credentials on the Top Up tab.
