Overview
Voniq is built around prepaid VoIP with crypto billing. We collect only what we need to run accounts, route calls, and prevent abuse. This policy explains what we store, what we deliberately avoid, and how you can reach us.
What we do not log
Voniq does not record, store, or listen to the audio content of your calls. We do not build voice profiles, transcribe conversations, or sell call data to third parties.
We do not operate call recording features. If a softphone on your side records calls, that is entirely under your control and responsibility.
We do not log full packet captures of media streams. Signaling metadata required for routing and billing is separate from call audio and is kept for limited periods described below.
Call and billing metadata
To bill per-second usage we retain call metadata: start and end time, destination number, call direction, duration, cost, and SIP session identifiers. This data is used for invoices, dispute resolution, and fraud detection.
Metadata is not used for advertising or sold to data brokers. Retention periods follow tax, accounting, and anti-fraud requirements, typically up to several years for billing records unless law requires longer storage.
Account data
When you register, we store your account identifier, login PIN or credentials hash, balance, plan type, and SIP settings (username, server, and related configuration). We do not store your softphone password in plain text on client devices; local storage in your browser is your responsibility.
Crypto top-up records include transaction hashes, coin type, amount, confirmation status, and credited EUR value. These are required to match blockchain deposits to your balance.
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share personal information with marketers. Support messages you send us (Discord, Telegram, email) are read only to resolve your request.
Cookies and local storage
The website uses essential cookies and local storage for login sessions and dashboard preferences. We do not run invasive third-party ad trackers on the dashboard.
Anonymous aggregate metrics (page load times, error rates) may be used to improve uptime and performance. These metrics are not linked to individual call content.
Security
We use TLS for web traffic and expect SRTP where supported for media. No system is perfectly secure; you should protect your SIP credentials and PIN as you would a banking password.
If we detect unauthorized access to an account, we may lock it and notify you through the contact details we have on file.
Law enforcement
Because we do not record call audio, we cannot provide conversations. If we receive a valid legal request related to abuse of our network, we may disclose limited account, billing, and SIP registration metadata as required by law.
Verified government and law enforcement requests: law@voniq.cc. See also our contact page.
Your rights
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about your account or ask for correction of inaccurate details. You may request account deletion by contacting support; some billing records may be retained where law requires.
If you are in the EU/EEA, you may have additional rights under GDPR including objection and portability where applicable. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe.

Changes
We may update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of Voniq after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
